Alde 3010 Water Heater Printed Circuit Board 3 kW. Alde International Systems AB is a world-leading company which develops, produces and markets heating systems for caravans and motorhomes. I have a Alde 3010 in my 2010 Buccaneer Schooner and until the recent bad weather had worked fine (been parked on my drive since last March). The control panel is working fine, the circulation pump on the header tank is working fine (fluid level fine) and I've just had the printed circuit board on the boiler unit checked and repaired, However I.
Alde tell me I can fit a new circuit board to my Alde 3010 central heating which then upgrades the electric heating to 3 kW rather than 2kw without any other modifications apart from checking the wiring ,switches and breakers to cope with this. All new uk Alde 3010 heaters are now to Scandinavian spec of 3 kW.
Has anyone done this swap, who could say if there are any problems in doing it?
I thought the heater would have needed a more powerful electrical element but Alde say no.
