I have a couple of very closely related questions regarding composer Hiroyuki Sawano's choices in naming Aldnoah Zero's OST/opening/ending song titles. I will be referencing the tracklist for Aldnoah Zero's OST (link here), in addition to some opening/closing songs that are co-composed by Hiroyuki Sawano including 'aLIEz', 'A/Z', and '&Z'. One of the best things about anime television series is that we get to see extreme scenarios with full intensity that is rare, especially when we get to see the effects of disastrous wars where heavy use of futuristic technology along with some badass CGI gets portrayed. One such anime that contains all these elements is 'Aldnoah. Zero'. However, the anime series shows some cliches, including the most typical characters that anime lovers find in such a mecha genre. Such anime also has its own charm.

The anime series is produced by A-1 Pictures, and the animation of 'Aldnoah.Zero' is also quite impressive. The action scenes in the anime are very well-coordinated, and the battle scenes are perfectly shown, which makes it even more interesting to watch. The music in the anime is given by Hiroyuki Sawano, who brings some amazing techno beats in the anime that makes its OST different from others. 'Aldnoah.Zero' eventually became a controversial anime because of the endless debates on the subject of its future on MAL and Reddit. However, fans who have been loyal to this show are desperately waiting for the next season of the series. It has been three years since fans saw the conclusion of the last season. They want to know whether there will be another season or not, and even though chances are really thin, let's try to find out the possibilities that will give an idea about what to expect next.

Are There Any Possibilities For 'Aldnoah.Zero' Season 3?

Frankly, not really, as the anime series is not based on any light novel or manga that could help in serving as a source for the next television adaptation. In short, if there has to be any renewal, it will all depend on the creator in general and on Katsuhiko Takayama, in particular. Another factor we cannot miss to analyze is the ratings and response both the seasons got from the targeted audience. Looking at the date and figures, it does seem that the show performed well by scoring 7.42/10 from 247,488 votes, while the second one has a rating of 6.96/10 from 167,154 votes, according to MyAnimeList.

However, fans were not really impressed with the second season as they were with the first season, which makes the entire renewing situation dicey. No matter how unsure everything looks, we really cannot come to any concrete conclusion as it's been only six years before fans heard anything related to the anime series. Six years is not long enough when we are talking about animes as there is plenty of series for which fans have waited for decades and got surprised by the renewal.

When Will' Aldnoah.Zero' Season 3 Come?

Even though the chances are very less for the renewal to happen for the third time if we look at the points mentioned above, however, if at all the third installment takes place, then we might see it happening sometime in 2021 or 2022. Season 1 released on July 6, 2014, and ended on September 21, 2014, with a total of 12 episodes. The second season was soon released on January 11, 2015, and continued till March 29, 2015.

How Do Fans Feel About The Renewal Of 'Aldnoah.Zero' Season 3?

Some want it, and some continue to stay disappointed.

I am obsessed with Aldnoah.Zero ending 'aLIEz' right now. Really need a Season 3 to justify that Season 2 ending; would recommend though.
